Favs

Tue Nov 3, 2009, 7:05 AM
So, recently, I've had a couple of favs on my stuff. You know, this in and of itself is awesome, but I'm actually sort of worried about it. The fact of the matter is that the stuff in question - Ghosts 8 - was faved two minutes or so after I put it up. I don't think that really gives a person enough time to read it and understand what's going on - especially as I had just uploaded some of the previous ones. It's pretty cool that things are getting faved, but I want to know that people are reading my work and enjoying it, not just faving it because the title sounds cool.

This is a good feeling

I've decided to be somewhat evil and post the next chapter/segment of Ghosts SOLELY ON DEVIANTART. Why? Because there's a huge competition between Ghosts' current readers on who can find the note before I publish it, and it is highly annoying. You have no idea how annoying it is, so I'm preempting them all and posting it here. Let's see how long it takes them to find it, hmm?

Ghosts

Not that anyone here cares or even bothers to peruse my gallery/library thing, but I'm going to begin posting an original story that is currently under the title of 'Ghosts' here. Most of my avid readers of this read it on Facebook, so we'll see what happens.

WTF!?

Tue Jul 22, 2008, 5:48 PM
You know, this was originally uploaded blank, and I nearly left it that way, but I decided against it. I've got some pretty serious shit to say.

I have a watcher. I HAVE A FUCKING WATCHER.
(translation: I have a legal stalker who basically only has access to me on this page).

It's actually kind of freaky, as I only put up stories (basically). Maybe I'll put up some of my schoolwork at some point, but I promise you nothing.

Not only that, but somebody faved me. Well, someone faved the first part of the Seven Rings of Hell. Which yes, I have worked on recently. We're gearing up to meet the First Ring, and then the entire storyline unravels. I think I'm going to scare whoever faved it absolutely shitless.

Yeah, I'm done. This is just me waving at my sta - watcher. Hi there...whoever the hell you are.

Anime Lesbians

Sun Jul 20, 2008, 3:09 PM
This is what I've realized...
Canon anime lesbians = rape.
I would very much like to know WHY!? Is this some sort of not-so-vague implication that lesbians need to rape someone to end up happily-ever-after (ish)?

In case you're wondering what I'm talking about, I give you two examples:
Chikane and Himeko in Kannazuki no Miko (that was a really good anime...why was it only twelve episodes!?) - Chikane rapes Himeko...for a good reason.
Shizuru and Natsuki in Mai-HiME - it's vaguely implied, but it's there. The only excuse here is that Shizuru's a pyscho...and therefore the best character in the series (the ending here was a bit of let-down)
I'm sure there are others, but I'm too lazy to think of any. But it's still creepy. But then, I get the pervert vibe from a lot of stuff that comes out of Japan, so that might explain it.

I would also like to point out that both of these pairings are composed of a girl that has blue hair and a girl that has darkish blond hair. Even though this is frequent, it's not a rule. Maybe it has to do with the rape thing (though both blue and blond have been raped), you often get dark hair attached to light hair - depending on how realistic the anime's universe is, the more realistic the hair colors (black/blond for Maria-sama ga Miteru, pink/purple for Utena - purple's got blue in it, by the way)

Does anyone else think this is weird!?
