The ride was fairly boring - after Marek's hissy fit and their escape from him and Edward (and their silver Mercedes), they were basically alone until they hit the city. All of the signs to the city had been taken down long ago, and the jail where Jocelyn had been incarcerated was no where near a city - so Papillion had no idea where they were, and Chaim was not not forthcoming with details. Papillion figured the signs were down so no one would find Ramblewood, thinking the road deserted and abandoned.
